Absorbed by the Beauty - Book Collection

If you happen to find yourself mooching around Bristol this weekend please come by the Martin Parr Foundation for the Books on Photography show! I will be there with my Absorbed by the Beauty book collection. It’s a little treasure I dreamt up a few years ago, with images of historic tulips which I have grown & captured. Beautifully showcased in a handcrafted book made by Rooksmoor Press.

These little books are all about the fine details of craftsmanship, the hot metal font casting, the type of font, each print debossed to make it feel like a traditional plate, a fine piece of Japanese tissue protecting each image & of course hand stitched & bound by Katie too. It’s a treasure that I am proud to have created with her.
