Britt Willoughby

A woman holding a camera, standing outside near a brick wall, smiling and touching her ear.

Britt studied photography at Nottingham Trent University and built her early career around a lifelong fascination with botanical subjects. Today she is an established and widely respected garden photographer, capturing landscapes and gardens across the UK and abroad.

Her images have appeared in leading publications including House & Garden, Country Life and The English Garden, and she has contributed to number of books such as Jinny Blom’s What Makes a Garden, Garden for the Senses by Kendra Wilson and The Money Saving Gardner series by Anya Lautenbach.

After relocating to the Cotswolds in 2012, Britt immersed herself in her own garden while continuing to grow her career as a professional garden photographer. It was during this time that she became captivated by the texture and form of tulips — a fascination that soon blossomed into a deeper passion for both growing and photographing them. This led to her creating an extensive body of work studying Historic and English Florist's tulips which became her collection ‘Absorbed by the Beauty’.

She is always capturing nature is some form and the winter months are spent in her studio studying pieces that she has gathered on her walks during the year..
